BESPOKE JEWELLERY PROCESS

CONSULTATION

• The initial consultation can be done over email, WhatsApp, telephone or zoom.

• The process will vary slightly depending on whether you have a specific idea of what you would like, or no idea at all.

• We will discuss your design ideas, stone preferences, metal options, budget and timescales.

• Knowing a rough budget can be a really helpful place to start as prices of materials can vary hugely. Knowing your budget would help me to give you options and ideas in the right ballpark.

• If you already have a very specific idea of what you want, I can give you a quote for that exact design. However there may still be different price brackets, as gemstone specifications can have a big impact on the overall price.

• Bespoke prices for engagement rings start from £2,000 and wedding rings start from £400.

PRICE ESTIMATE

• Once I have an idea of what you are after, I can estimate prices for different options within the budget eg. Different gold purities or stone specifications.

• I will work hard to provide options within your budget and will be transparent as to what is possible to achieve.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

• There is a £250 design charge (which is redeemable against the final cost) to cover my time sourcing stones, designing etc.

• Once this is paid I can spend time sketching, 3D modelling and sourcing stones for the piece. Amendments to the design can be made at this stage.

• Once the design and materials are finalised, the final price will be calculated.

- 4 -

DEPOSIT

• 50% of the total price is requested prior to starting the making process, with the remainder to be paid on completion.

• Once I receive the deposit, the first step will be to source the gemstones. If there is a variety of gemstone options I will send videos via WhatsApp and reserve your selected gemstones.

• I will also create more detailed 3D CAD drawings. Any amendments and alterations can be made at this stage.

MAKING

• Once the design is finalised and the deposit has been paid I can start making!

• The making process will take up to 8 weeks from when the design has been finalised. (If a shorter deadline is required let me know and I will accommodate if possible).

• I can send updates and snapshots of the making process if requested.

- 6 -

FINISHED!

• I will let you know when the piece is ready and will send a photo/video of the finished piece.

• At this point the remaining balance will be paid and I will arrange with you a convenient time for the piece to be delivered.

• I'll send the item via insured next day delivery.
